The main vision of Chef and Father and Create Change
Studios has always been the same. Bring families back to the table.
So, when Adam and I sat down to write the music for our project I
made sure he knew I was going to steal one slot on the CD for a
theme song. I didn’t know at the time how it would come out but I
knew it would be about a family and their life at the table and how
all the simple, yet important, events in life happen around the
dinner table.
With the thoughts of Chef and Father in the
background I wrote the song "At the Table"
and came up with a simple guitar melody to go with it. I talked Adam
into singing my words (I don’t sing…at all) and we ended up
recording the final version down in Oregon with some added guitar
and vocals from the great talent down there. I am happy with the way
it turned out and I feel it is the perfect background to what we are
trying to do with this project.
