One of my main goals as Chef and Father is to get families
back in the kitchen and to inspire them to cook together. With
this I hope families will start creating dishes and passing down the
recipes from generation to generation.
Think of all those hand-written and well-worn
recipe cards you might find in your Grandma's attic or that secret
recipe that only your trusted family members know about.
I have my recipe book in my kitchen at all times. I write in
it, with a pencil, and I hope it will reside in my daughter's
kitchen one day. It just seems a little more special than them
having the recipes on a thumb drive or cd.
